1. What is DMARC?
DMARC stands for Domain-based Message Authentication Reporting and Conformance. It is a free protocol that is used to authenticate an email by aligning SPF and DKIM mechanisms.
2. Why is DMARC needed?

There are so many companies and users are suffering from the high amount of spam and phishing on the Internet. Over the years, several methods have been introduced to try and identify where the mail is coming from. In those cases, DMARC is required.

3. What is SPF?

SPF stands for Sender Policy Framework and it is used to authenticate the sender of an email. SPF verifies that a mail server is authorized to send an email for a domain.

4. What is DKIM?

DKIM stands for Domain Keys Identified Mail. It is an open standard for email authentication that is used for DMARC alignment. A DKIM record exists in the DNS, but it is a bit more complicated than SPF.
